Testech Group recently announced the appointment of Richard Cohen to its Board of Directors. Mr. Richard Cohen brings over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, focusing on global manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and external manufacturing. His expertise in these areas makes him a valuable asset to Testech Group, a company that provides semiconductor manufacturing support to clients worldwide.
Cohen’s impressive career in the semiconductor industry includes holding various prominent positions at well-known companies such as Analog Devices, Maxim Integrated, ON Semiconductor, and Motorola. Throughout his career, he played a pivotal role in expanding these companies’ operations and strengthening their global supply chains through improvements in quality, productivity and service.
At Maxim Integrated Richard was responsible for all of the company’s internal test operations and oversaw tremendous growth and improvement in operational metrics. When Maxim Integrated was acquired by Analog Devices, in 2021, Richard took on the additional task of bringing all test operations to parity.
During his tenure at ON Semiconductor, Cohen served as the President of ON Semiconductor Philippines, Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management and the Vice President of External Manufacturing and Global Supply Management. In these roles, he led teams across Asia, the Americas, and Europe.
Before joining ON Semiconductor, Cohen held various positions at Motorola, where he developed and managed teams responsible for external manufacturing and supply chain management.
Richard holds a degree in Material Science Engineering from the University of Florida, where he was named Alumni of the year for his accomplishments in the industry, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Arizona State University.
